Fantastic people

I miss her so much because I am so INSPIRED by her. Honestly, I really love to hear success story (Who don't right..) and I love meeting the successful person herself/himself. How I wish I get the chance to talk to them... what really motivates and inspire them to do all these things that benefit the people... Hmmph. Interesting. =)))

Studies are interesting but meeting people out there are even more interesting. ha ha. I mean meeting RIGHT PERSON k.

Really...at least I get some space to breathe.. besides seeing all the law books everyday. Once in a while, get inspired by people like Marina is so good. That reminds me of Dr Salawati. Both of them are really into human rights.

I know what kind of lawyer I wanna be in the future but I am not sure how am I getting towards that path. Well.. study first and leave the rest for now. =)

What is the depth of friendship these days?

What is the depth of friendship these days?

A post on the wall?
A random phone call?
A text away?
Will you make their day?

Will you skip your event,
And help them mend?
Will you give your time
and never to mind?

What is the depth of friendship these days?

A friend will love you for
Your good and flaw
A friend should apologize
When some words slice.

A friend can surely choose
to not make use
of the understanding
your friendship sing.

A friend should make you right
When you downward slide.
A friend should help you stay
In the light of day.

What is the depth of friendship these days?

A friend may be all that
but still stay sad.
Because a friend is not a friend
If a friend does not have a friend,
To be a friend.

What is the depth of friendship these days?

Love thy neighbour - Marina Mahathir

"My most enduring memory of Aunty Leha is how generous she is with everyone, no matter what their background. Every open house or any event at her house was attended by all sorts of people, from every ethnicity and walk of life. Aunty was friends with everyone, from the Dalai Lama to the lowliest driver, and everyone was welcome. More than anyone, she taught us that it is good decent human beings who matter, not what race or religion they are."

Quoted from http://rantingsbymm.blogspot.com/2011/03/aunty-leha-1923-2011-my-role-model-for.html.

No wonder she's(Marina) so friendly. I was thinking as I was standing there waiting to take photo with her yesterday... she smiles cheerfully at every single photo that people took with her be it foreigner.. malay...chinese.. indian.. or any other races. I mean.. how many people can do that. Personally, I've never seen anyone (big shots) really cheerful as she is and I remember she said.. "see how wide I smile =)"... Ha ha. I'm not that fond seeing big shots though I've encountered some face and face because it's nothing more than for political purposes. Besides, they aren't that friendly neither smileyyyy..

Irregardless of who you are, she agreed to snap photo with you. Not only that..whenever people talk to her, she always maintain that cheerful look. Wow! That's the thing that impress me a lot because I'm not really impressed by people who are pretty and handsome but more to their cheerfulness and friendliness. My views are always different from others. Whenever people tell me that a particular guy is handsome or a particular woman is pretty and it's agreed by majority.. I somehow don't think so. And vice versa. Some people are pretty and handsome but eventually I don't find them attractive at all because when they speak, you can sense their ARROGANCE! The way they carry themselves also show that it's as if.. "I am PRETTY/HANDSOME! WHY MUST I MIX WITH U?"

When I first hear she speaks on the stage, my impression was that.. Her voice is so sweet and she's so humble...Why do I say that? It's because everyday I've seen people who boast about themselves - imagine it's your first time meeting them and they are so afraid that you don't know how busy they are - so they start boasting.. I've been to Europe, Indonesia and bla bla bla..I'm so busy. I'm the president of this and that..I have connection with so and so.. (Nothing interesting besides all the I, ME, MY DOG AND MY CAT STORY.") aHHH! Well I expect Marina to do the same thing I guess but she didn't! Instead, she praise others for their good job in taking care of Timor Leste children and also praising the Timor Leste youth for doing well in their studies besides encouraging them at the same time too.

Hey hey hey,... It's Marina Mahathir(4th Prime Minister's daughter). Yet to think that she's so different. I've read her articles.. heard good things about her before .. but meeting her face to face is really a great privilege =)

If only all politicians are like her.. who are friendly with the citizens no matter what race they are ..  (besides trying to buy votes from us when it's near election..)

Most of all... I really praise her for her good works. One of the pictures that struck me the most was her pic visiting a Timor Leste kid in Putra hospital. Who on earth would do that? Yet Marina did. Yesterday she sang during the dinner to raise fund for the youth too.

May God bless Marina Mahathir for all her good work. I do hope that I can be like her some day. BE THE VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS.With her position, she can do many things for her own benefit but she chose to fight for the right of others.. One of the characteristic that I truly admire about her. =)

God bless you Marina!

Look at how cheerful she is.. look at her smile =))) Something that cheers me up =)))

I am just so inspired =)

I believe she has make the world a better place to live in.
